A very helpful friend!

When we decided to run www.resail.gr, we came down to two fundamental decisions; first, to use as much upcycled material as possible and second, that nothing could be achieved without our friends’ valuable help. The following story proves us right.

During his summer vacation, Antonis visited Maroneia in Komotini. He came across a flamboyance of flamingos (we actually had to look up what a flock of flamingos is called). He took pictures from a distance and when the birds took off, he noticed the feathers that were left behind. It was at that moment that he remembered his three friends, who made jewelery and needed help collecting material. Yes, that was us :)

Antonis sloshed in the mud, where the birds had been standing, and collected as many feathers as he could. No flamingos were harmed in the process, except for our poor, muddy friend! He brought them to us, we washed them, made sure they were really pink and started to think of ways to incorporate them to our work, making awesome jewelery!

We do not ask that our readers tread through mud for us.
