... girls just want to have fun!

fun

There are times when you try really hard. You put all your efforts in order to achieve what you have initially planned and sometimes you feel that you have even tried harder that you could to just reach a point where you think to yourself 'That's it, I am not going to make it...'' Thankfully though, at the end of that path, you get to understand that all of the above effort was just a really pleasant journey through each and every day's surprises.
This was the mood in which, more or less, the Resail Team organised the first, for this winter season, exhibition at Zak Bistrot.
The procedure followed was the typical one. A little bit of extra effort for the coordination of the team, expected luck of extra time to spare since time is something you always look for but you never find and finally some setbacks but, luckily, nothing out of the ordinary. Eventually, our event took place as it should and the results were very promising. The exhibition came up to our expectations and therefore we decided to offer ourselves as a reward an excellent hiking excursion to Mount Olympus. No matter how much we love the sea, we really calm our souls on the mountain. We dedicated a whole weekend exploring nature on Mount Olympus in autumn. Unique landscapes and scents. The alteration of the scenery was remarkable. From the thick pine forest to the alpine landscape as we reached Apostolides' Refuge on the mountain's summit. We challenged our strengths physically and mentally. We programmed our mind to think in an alternative manner, following a different rhythm. We had the opportunity to redefine our position in the world and our attitude in life.
We returned back to our base full of energy, the kind of which you can only absorb on Mount Olympus. We were inspired and new ideas were born. It's a good thing, once in a while, for someone to test his/her limits, to redefine his/her way of thinking and acting. That's how you get to unfoil/bring to light new aspects of yourself and invest in them. Why not to invest upon something extraordinary such as, let's say,the creation of jewelry out of up cycled sailing materials?
