It is just before the carnival festivities where carnival costumes will be in the spotlight. So,I am literally breaking my head in order to come up with an idea on how to combine this event with sailing, jewelry, upcycle and finally Resail. Where to start from, so as not to be that sarcastic, to share the pleasant touch of the season, since it's the carnival after all!

Well, it might as well go like that...Every morning, we wake up, we have our coffee, gather all together as a team and begin to create beautiful jewelry by transforming already used materials that we gathered from sailing boats, nautical clubs, warehouses. We put them through the procedure of disguise into something chic and elegant to adorn a neck or a wrist. They become a women's affair. No one, anymore, might be able to recognize the exact use they had before becoming jewelry. That time when they were used as parts or gear of some boats. How could all the above, though, define us? Can we be considered as conscious citizens? It is true that we occupy ourselves with reuse and upcycle. We reorder and reduce waste.

However, there is more to that! Our task should be a team task. A Panhellenic or global one. We are so many that if we all consciously activate ourselves towards the proper exploitation of the resources that our planet offers us, we can definitely achieve something unique. Our survival!

Each one of us can contribute within the range of his abilities, within the range of his interests. Eventually, the result will not only be an assumption or a disguise, but an essential movement to the maximum possibility. Let us all collect plastic cups, use less plastic bags, create jewelry, whatever each one of us can do.

Let's dress up 'Conscientious'!

Happy Lent everyone!
